Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus?

Maybe you’ve attended church your whole life, but still something is missing.  You may read your Bible, attend Bible study, or teach Sunday school, but you’ve never taken personal steps to make your relationship with Jesus real.   It’s not too late.

Or possibly this Jesus stuff is a little foreign.  Or maybe you’ve been hurt by “church folk” or religion in the past.  People are imperfect, and Jesus isn’t religion.  Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, and the only way to heaven.

It’s no accident that you’re reading this.  Today can change your eternity.  But it’s up to you.  There’s no single, correct “formula” for beginning a relationship with Jesus.  But there are some suggestions, such as the “ABC’s” of salvation:  Admit you’ve sinned (each one of us has), Believe that Jesus is who He says He is (your Savior who died on the cross for you), Confess that Jesus is Lord of your life (say it, believe it from your heart, and tell others).  If that seems like too stringent of a formula, use your own words.  Tell Jesus you’re sorry, tell Him you know who He is, and ask Him to take charge of your life and begin leading you today.  This is the only decision you will ever make that I can guarantee you will never regret.  It doesn’t mean life won’t have difficulties; no one says life is easy, including Jesus.  But it does mean your eternity is sealed, and you will have the most powerful, loving source that you can ever imagine guiding you and interceding for you.

The next step:  find a Bible-believing church.  Ask God to lead you to one…a church that believes the Bible is the inerrant word of God and a church that teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone.  Pray from a sincere heart, and you will be led.
